STRATOS WEALTH NETWORK EXPERIENCING TREMENDOUS GROWTH IN THE NORTHEAST

Beachwood, OH - Stratos Wealth Network (“Stratos”), a family of companies focused on the support and success of independent financial advisors, has seen tremendous growth onto its platform in the Northeast Region. Over the last 18 months, Beachwood, Ohio-based Stratos has added more than 25 Financial Advisors and acquired a large advisory practice with combined Assets Under Advisement of nearly $1B in the Northeast states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

“Our value proposition of ‘supported independence’ is resonating strongly with financial advisors in the region. The ability for advisors to move to independence and take ownership of their business, but not go at it alone, has proved very compelling,” said Michael O’Brien, Stratos’ Managing Director in the Northeast, based in Garden City and Purchase, New York. “Delivering critical resources important to the growth of a financial advisory practice in areas such as business development, technology and practice acquisition allows our Financial Advisor partners to do what they do best - provide clients with top tier advice and an outstanding experience.”

In addition, Stratos acquired the financial advisory practice of Heald Financial Advisors in Marlton, New Jersey. “We created a platform and model that will serve us well in this, and future practice acquisitions. Partnering with Heald Financial leadership, we developed a relationship manager and ‘advisor as employee’ solution that is driving the retention of clients and growing the asset base. This approach has piqued the interest of advisor talent across the market as well,” added Jeff Concepcion Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Stratos.

“We’re also very proud of the caliber of advisors who have chosen to affiliate with Stratos in the region.” said O’Brien. “It’s great to be part of and contribute to a culture that supports and attracts the kind of talent we have brought on.” Many of Stratos’ new financial advisors have received industry honors and established a presence in specific areas of client’s needs, such as Special Needs Planning for families and Financial Planning for Women in Transition.

Concepcion concludes, “Looking ahead, we see enormous opportunities to reinforce our industry leadership in the Northeast based on our unique advisor service culture, strong capital position and willingness to invest in the future. We’re excited to continue the strong momentum we have generated in supporting the businesses of advisors who work in association with us - in growing our advisor talent as well as acquiring financial advisory practices to our platforms.”
